Through God’s guidance, the prompting of the Holy Spirit and the example of Jesus Christ, we at St. John’s feel called to serve God locally, and as feasible nationally and globally.
St. John’s is a true presence in Berkeley and the surrounding area — socially, educationally, artistically, and spiritually committed to our community. More than three dozen community groups in the East Bay area gather at our facility for meetings, concerts, banquets and other special events over the course of the year. As well, there are three schools operating daily (Monday-Friday) at St. John’s.
Combined with regular church activities on Sunday and community life events during the week, St. John’s church is really an all-day, everyday operation.
