⭐ FOOD NOT BOMBS

The mission of Food Not Bombs is to recover and share free vegan- or vegetarian-food with the public without restriction to protest war, poverty and the destruction of the environment.

Each of the 1,000 groups is independent making decisions using the consensus process. Food Not Bombs is also dedicated to taking nonviolent direct action to change society so no one is forced to stand in line to eat at a soup kitchen expressing a commitment to the fact that food is a right and not a privilege.

With over a billion people going hungry each day how can we spend another dollar on war?

For more information call Food Not Bombs at (510) 542-3112,
or visit their website at https://eastbayfoodnotbombs.org/(opens in new tab).

East Bay Food Not Bombs is an all-volunteer organization and always needs new volunteers!

You are always welcome to just show up to any of the kitchens listed on their website(opens in new tab). If you’d just like to help serve and not cook, reach out to the contacts(opens in new tab) at the bottom of this page.

In addition to helping prepare and serve food, there are a number of other opportunities to help out with EBFNB.

Please visit Food Not Bomb's website for their current schedule and volunteer opportunities: https://eastbayfoodnotbombs.org/volunteer-with-us/(opens in new tab)
